Stephen has been an Editor of film and television drama for over thirty years.
After graduating with a First Class Honours in London he worked as an Assistant Editor on a range of feature films from the USA and the U.K. including LIFE IS SWEET and HIGH HOPES by the legendary director Mike Leigh.
Returning to Australia in the 90's Stephen made the transition to Editor and has a diverse list of credits on many successful film and television productions including CHOPPER, UNDERBELLY, WOLF CREEK, MISS FISHER'S MURDER MYSTERIES, BABYTEETH and KILLING EVE.
Stephen has worked with numerous directors and producers and has always had the pleasure of repeat work. Names include Shannon Murphy, Jan Chapman, Andrew Dominik, Andrew Knight, and Sam Miller (U.K.), while the cast members have included Ben Mendelsohn, Essie Davis, Mia Wasikowska, Guy Pearce, and Denis Hopper.
Stephen has been nominated for Awards for CHOPPER and AUSTRALIAN RULES and has won awards for SUBURBAN MAYHEM, UNDERBELLY and GRACE.
Recent credits include BABYTEETH (Selected in Competition for Venice Film Festival 2019) and KILLING EVE, THE POWER, BOAT STORY and DOPE GIRLS.
